Had a mixed affair with the DC. I recall the Edge issue where the first write up on it had the guy in charge of the project quoted as saying something like "the Dreamcast will stay technologically ahead of the PC for the next 4 years". Course, being a PC charlie back then I laughed and never bothered myself with it (nor any console tbh).
After getting a pal ps2 on launch and re-discovering gaming needn't involve ?1k every 2 years, I picked up a DC maybe a year later for about 20 notes and suddenly found a wealth of tidy games on eBay for a fiver, a new sealed stick for a tenner etc heh. Can't fault it.
Then xbox, cube, yadda. All a bit arse backwards tbh.
