Games you want but still haven't bought?

Hmm... I wanted Initial D Special Stage (PS2) after finally being able to see season 1 of the anime...

Waited for a week and just ordered it yesterday!

Mr Driller Drill Land for the GC. Been intrigued about the game for ages now, just haven't got round to purchasing yet.

Grim Fandango on the PC. Briefly borrowed the game years ago, enjoyed it, now I want my own copy.

Civilisation 2 for the PC. Same reasons as above really.

Chronicles of Riddick on the Xbox. It looks quality and the first impressions are very good so far.

Pikmin 2 on the GC. Haven't got round to importing it yet

Zelda 4 Swords. Same as the above.

MGS: Twin Snakes (GC): Belive it or not i still don't own this, as soon as i have ?50 spare this is mine.

SF3: 3rd Strike (PS2): SF goodness been wanting it for a while to buy this.

Katamari Damashi (PS2): Looks quality wanted it for a while.

This is the result of saving up to go to Japan again hence i have no money to spend on games, maybe i'll wait til i get to Japan to buy them.

The only game I am really after at the moment is Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy on GC. It garnered pretty average reviews everywhere but it had a large thread on it on t'other forum so I had a look for it but it is still full price everywhere. But lack of funds and a huge gaming backlog picked up recently (including ICO) means I am not that desperate to get it.

I recently picked up the Xbox version for $19.99, and it was damn worth it. The controls are really tight, the gameplay is smooth, the graphics are like butter, and the sound is pretty good too, though I hate that there's no voice overs. Still, for that cheap, I have no room to complain. Just a really fun little game to play.

I really should slim this list down. The problem is (damn you all!) that at least one person tends to really like a game, and that one persons opinion sells me the game over any other opinions. How can I make myself shorten this list? ARGH!

Right! I am taking the bull by the horns. No more wasted money, if a game is good and I miss it, oh well!

So from the above list I will try and find time and money for -

F-Zero GX, Harvest Moon, Prince of Persia, Soul Calibur 2, Wario Ware and Wario World

This means I will be missing out from ever playing -

Burnout 2, Capcom v SNK 2 EO, I-Ninja, Kirby Air Ride, MGS Twin Snakes, Mr Driller Drill Land, Ribbit King and Sega Soccer Slam

Will I regret this? Does anyone want to plead a case for any of tonights losing contestants?

Forget Wario Ware, it doesn't astounding enough. BO2 is a rental if you've already played BO1. BO1 is much tighter with BO2 only worthwhile if you want the over-rated crash **** and graphics (_if_ you notice graphics much at 135 mph tearing between two trucks through a crossroads).

I would recommend Cap Vs. SNK 2 EO but only if you have the means to play it properly i.e. an arcade pad or stick. Otherwise it's just rather ****e. Mr. Driller is only worth it if you don't have a previous Mr. Driller title. Personally I recommend the Java version for phones, it's awesome!

There's my problem you see. I keep this Wish List on IGN. Those games I listed earlier I took them all off at 4pm. I just added them all back on! Madness.

SharkAttack, F-Zero & Soul Calibur you can pick up for less than $20 each new. Wouldn't waste your money on Wario Ware or Kirby TBH. Harvest Moon is cute but I'd wait and see if the game drops in price, MGSTS isn't worth the hassle if you played the original to death, besides this is more a movie than a game, last I saw new movies were under $20 so why shouldn't this?

As for me, I'm hunting for a copy of Fire Emblem, do some shopping on Sunday. My problem is, when I get my heart settled on a game I want, I have to have it, thing is I can't stop thinking about it until its in my grasp. Sad, but very true.
