Not sure if this should be here or in first play, anyway. I was in Oriental City over the weekend and happened upon a rather fun little Sega game called MUSHIKING.
Its a card based beetle battling game in a miniture cabinet. The idea is a simple rock, scissors, paper fighting game. First you scan in your beetle and then you scan in attack cards, which are assigned to either hit, throw or pinch.
That's it really, but it just felt so cool and the cards were fun to collect after each game. There was a pretty big crowd of kids around the machine waiting for me to finish playing. I had to kneel down the machine was so small.
There is some tactics involved in pairing up attacks with beetles which are compatible, (there are little markers on the bottom of the cards which need to be lined up).
Anyway was wondering if anyone else had seen or played this and what they thought. For my money its Sega arcade gaming at its best, simple and fun.
