Low G-man

Today i suddenly remembered the old NES game "Low G-Man".
What a great game that was. Did it do well, sales wise? Is it remotely possible it would be remade?

I don't think it did that well, even if it was excellent. Besides, how could you transfer the excellent freeze/spear dynamic to a 3D game. Or the spider vechile. Or the exellent boss levels that were just one huge machine/sub/alien ship etc.

maybe low g-man 2 for GBA or DS....
