It's quite a chunky pad tbh, kinda like 2 Saturn pads stuck together. Not as comfortable as I thought it was going to be initially, but after a sesh on Third Strike you do get used to it.

It's a nice all-round package it has to be said, kinda ashame to remove the control-pad from it's nifty packing.

I'll post some more photos tomorrow morning.

BTW, the best digital pad ever is available on PC now. SEGA's Saturn JP pad.

Check the news update on NCS today. (www.ncsx.com)

I have one, and they are simply perfection for MAME.

Funny thing that this thread should get updated today. my PS2 Ryu pad arrived fromVG+ today.

Only used it for the Xbox's emulation so far, and must say I quite like the pad. The D-Pad is good and find the button placement ideal for playing emulation. Not tried it on SF2 but I imagine it's the nuts for that too.

The box art is definitely the best part of it though.

It's **** for SF2, nearly impossible to do quarter circle turns

I don't seem to have a problem doing quarter circle turns but then, since the SNES days, I have adapted to SF of joypads. I'm not sure I could play it at all with a stick anymore. I realise to some that's blasphemy, but I just got used to pads.

I really like the PS2 SF pads. I find it odd that the XBox versions aren't stripped down a bit more...

Those Xbox pads are utterly rank. At least they've got vaguely sensible black and white button placement though.

I ordered a Chunny pad earlier this week not noticing thet they're out of stock! They reckon they'll be back in stock in January though (except the Akuma one) so it's not that bad. Besides, it's not like I'll be using the thing to play with!
