    Game Soundtrack CD's

Last week I bought a 'The Best of Tim Follin' CD featuring 40 tracks from games like Black Lamp, Bionic Commando, Ghouls 'n' Ghosts and LED Storm to name but a few.

I've been listening to it over the weekend some of the music is fantastic and quite remarkable considering the technology it was created on; it certainly puts the game music that is produced today to shame.

Does anyone know of any stores that sell CD soundtracks to games like Super Turrican, Plok, Equinox, Final Fantasy II and Castlevania IV on the SNES? I realise many sites have those soundtracks to download in MP3 files, but I find the MP3 format strips music of it's essence.

You'll never be able to find those CDs, maybe the Asian bootlegs but not the official releases.

If you find mp3 format stripping the essence, may i suggest .spc? That's, SNES music in its pure format Zophar's Domain is mb the best place for it, the spc and the plugins for Winamp / players.
