new gaming site\community in the making

Heya, I'm starting up a little community dedicated to online play, with a few events now and then, kinda like shoryuken but it's called hadoken!

have a read, pop along for a chat, need a few writers to review latest games\hardware, feild reports of local arcades etc...

hopefully it'll take off and become as big as shoryuken, well, heres hoping !

Sounds good, some properly set up Xbox Live tournies would be a good draw for me. Not played much for ages.

yea, i found it a bit naff that there is barely any tourneys over here, theres like that one in troc every year, and thats the only one i know of.. you could play in the US leagues if you wanted to put up with your pings being a bit naff

but we're planning to have the site fully up and running in a month or so, working on a q3 video, and also got work, so should be interesting taking on all these extra curricular activities

but rest assured, we've got 3\4 on the team so far, so it'll all go smoothly

Cool. We need someone to give the UK Fighter scene a kick up the arse...in places other than London. Be interesting to see how many people sign up to the site...and hopefully there will be some 3rd Strike players who live in my area...as at the moment its my brother and a mate. (im very quickly getting fed up of CvS2 tbh)

one of my mates whos from nottingham that came up with this idea is from notts, and he's got a excellent arcade by him, so i'm sure he'll be up for arranging a small 1 day tournie, also theres gonna be a xbox release of sf3s so you can play it on live

not forgetting the mame tournies we'll be holding as well...

and yes, the site should have full content by the end of weekend, and php scripts in place by end of the month, and we've got our own domain now, www.hadoken.org.uk so add it to your bookmarks now !
