    VG+ thumbs up

Just moved most of my pre-orders to vg+ after ordering some stuff from them recently. Their postage is as fast as DVDBO's DHL offering but is 10CDN cheaper although I like the traking ability on the DVDBO stuff. Also DVDBO seem to take an age to get things out the door, so it gets shipped like 3 days after release date - can't be having that. Its a pity as they used to be excellent.

What average delivery times to people get from VG+?

    Cheers,
    Neil

all of my delivery times have been around 5days with VG+ exept the last 2, which i ordered on friday and got one yestreday and one on monday. thats faster than sending them out from the likes of play.com.

they are a great company, with great prices and super cheap postage(?2 for a game, you get charged more than that onebay)

Ive placed an order with VG+ and (no joke!) it has been confirmed and despatched to me within 20 minutes, and from what Ive been told this is quite normal service for them. One of the reasons we chose to approach them as affilliates was from the resounding good feedback from you guys, I too used to use DVDBO but now purchase all my US released games from VG+.

Umm, linky? I know there used to be one in the Sales folder, but I can't find it now, and I need to pre-order Pikmin 2 for my wife...

I now use VG+ for ALL of my US imports.

Take my recent experience for example; I ordered Doom 3 on the Wednesday evening from them, it was shipped within 30 minutes of me placing my order and was delivered to me on the Saturday.

I use VG+ for my US games when they aren't going to be afflicted by French packaging. Sadly this means no Nintendo or Capcom releases; they are usually being handled by PlayAsia or LikSang (who both seem to have spotted an interesting niche of stocking some US titles).

Ha! Got it. Just had to refresh the page until we got a VG+ banner, rather than a play-asia one.

edit - and that was painless. Pikmin 2 ordered for under ?27 including shipping. Now to find out what customs are going to want to add to that, however...

vg+ is definately the US import website of choice super quick service no customs as all their packages are marked as gift.

                      unlike play asia

got stung like a mofo on my order for gradius V and esgaluda

?35 charges on games that were only ?60 the pair always makes me think twice about ordering with them (although i understand it has nothing to do with them)

                      /calmdown

                      apologies rant over

I use to buy loads of stuff from Fiocca off of ebay (owns VG+).
Never waited for more than 4 days for stuff to arrive.

For me, the deliveries from VG+ normally take around a week or under 7 days (ordered twice now, one PS2 game and one GBA game). But I bear with it personally, The prices far outweigh the delivery time, and I doubt it's their fault anyway (most other companies that I've ordered from take around that time anyway). I've preordered Phantom Brave off of them, so I have faith in VG+ for sure.

                            Titting monkey cocks!

I generally order my US stuff from dvdboxoffice but after hearing all the feedback here I thought I'd give vg+ a try. Problem is this twatacular work computer won't let me on it.

Both myself and my dad have spent a considerable amount with these guys... no penny was spent in vain. Bought a sp, about 6 GBA games, a wave bird, and several Gamecube games. Not a single problem. Ever. The longest I?ve had to wait is a mere 5 days. Absolutely astonishing. Their service is unparalleled imo

Gonna pre-order my Nintendo DS from them very soon
