    Favourite Bemani tune?

Butterfly by SmileDk - as featured on various DDR games.

Probably the most cheesy J-Pop tune ever but I love it

    Ay, iyaiyai,
    Ay, iyaiyai,
    A-a-a iyaiyai
    Where's my samurai

Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky
Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky

    Where's my samurai
    Where's my samurai

I've been searching for a man
    All across Japan
Just to find, to find my samurai
    Someone who is strong
    But still a little shy
Yes i need, I need my samurai

Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky
Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky

    Where's my samurai
    Where's my samurai

I've been searching in the woods
    And high upon the hills
Just to find, to find my samurai
    Someone who won't regret
To keep me in his net
Yes I need, I need my samurai

Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky
Ay, Ay, Ay, I'm your little butterfly
Green, black and blue, make the colours in the sky ...

Butterfly is easily the greatest ever.

but i also really like 'hero', 'dragonfly' and 'future girls'.
the cover of 'take on me' is also pretty cool.
i dont really know anything apart from ddr stuff though.

I'm not a big fan of Butterfly....it was good the first ten times I heard it though

Personally I have to say Toybox - Redraw Lots from Pop'n Music or Anime Heroine from Pop'n Music (playable in DDR Extreme too!)

The video for Butterfly is quite funny if you can find it online.

I've always enjoyed Naoki's stuff on DDR like Dynamite Rave and B4U.

Funky Tonight, Starian and Loner are all quality tunes from Pump It Up

I really like Wall 5 by North. It's from Beatmania International or something...
I did quite like Brilliant2U, Dynamite Rave, etc.
But yeah. Wall 5 is the only one that I'd actually listen to outside of the games. It took me an eternity to find an MP3, but I now have one. Which I love dearly. Well, I like.

Edit: Actually, on second thoughts I think it's North by Wall 5

Butterfly isn't J-Pop. It comes from Europe (probably the UK) and was even in the UK charts back in 1998.

I love many of the Bemani tunes but for some strange reason Miracle Moon from Pop'n Music II always plays in my mind.

                      Whoops. You're right of course.

Sounds like J-Pop though Think they are either Swedish or Danish.

They have a nice website with their music on: http://www.smile-dk.com/

I like butterfly, it's wonderfully cheesy. I also am a fan of Pink Dinosaur - not that I can recall which mix it's on, or who it's by or anything else, it's quite similar to the butterfly track though

Gotta be 'Boom Boom Dollar', if we're talking DDR.

Doesn't DDR consist mainly of what is known as 'eurobeat'? I can't actually think of *any* J-pop tunes off the top of my head, apart from that one with the video in DDR Max.

Favourite of them all has got to be from Guitar Freaks, but I can't decide on which... 'Spring' maybe, or 'Wanna be your boy'.
