I played quite a lot of pataak (sp) and was quite fond of the podraces. As a completist I walked around the first two planets until I was absolutely sure there wasn't any subquest left. That's it.

Ahh, Pataak -- that's great man, you should've continued 'cos there's wicked competition later in the game. I reckon you spoiled it for yourself though, maybe over-saturated your game by doing that. Also, I don't think it's possible to do everything in one go either, not with the mix of characters you get in game. Although maybe you did, I'm probably wrong there.

I found thingies brother on one of the goes through, and the other guys family in another game... I was shocked 'cos I never really gave it any thought until I started to use him more often. Then there was the whole Zalbaar incident too, I think most people are aware of that one

After reading this thread i decided to give this another bash last weekend as it was a quiet one anyways. I had jus completed broken sword on the xbox and saw KOTOR sittin on me shelf.

Now i got this in January and played it for about 2 hours, before i gave up. I was brought up on japanese RPG's so the sudden change did not agree with me. Trying to understand the manual was nightmare and when i looked at the menus and stats it jus got over whelming. I jus did not like the long massive corridors of pointless wandering and talking to people about things that didnt make sense.

Anyways 6 months on and i jus put it in my machine for a quick whizz. Thanks to whoever it was that started htis thread i am completely hooked. To the point i racked up 12 hours in the weekend. I had to stop last night as my eye began to hurt from staring at the screen. But i cant wait to get back to it after work. I even forsaked food for a few hours. Ive just met Davik and he's performing a back ground check on me. But i spent ages making sure i did as much as possible to get light side points and did as many of the side quests as possible. I killed every one in the arena bar that guy in a gold sith suit. As i realised fighting him in the arena gave you a darkside point.

I realise that im going to have to complete this game again on the darkside to see what type of answers i get from being rude to peeps. This game is truly expansive! I jus hope the game is not about to end now that ive jus left Taris.

I luv the way the characters suddenly burst in to conversation and argue. My character is a scoundrel andtheoption to persudae peeps is hilarious. Ive not played the card games as i cant be arsed with it. Ive never liked these card games, even in the final fantasy epics.

But im so glad ive gotten into this game as ive felt reall guilty for not liking it initially. What, being a waste of space and money, and effort to get it initially.

I cant wait till i play as a darkside player, then i can give bastilla a right ripping for being such a biatch! Carth is a hilarious and id jus loveto give him a bit of abuse about his self rightous ideals!

good thread guys and i hope i can share my experiences with you guys as i play through more of the game!

Jesus christ your still on Taris?

Taris, is widely believed to be the low point of the game. I loved it though, but it gets better as you progress.

Believe me, your in for one hell'va ride.

BTW, did you manage to help the old guy in lower parts of Taris? (he spoke of the promised land)

know what, i was a bout to jet off when i remembered him and found his journals for him. He's moved off to the promise land. Why is that important? if so im glad i remembered! Problem is i couldnt give the peeps in the pen the rakgoul serum. I didnt know how to use it on em. and when they left for the promised land they were nt in the cages no more! Am i missing somthing?

You give the serum to the doctor, iirc. The only thing you get for doing the promised land stuff is some light side points. Again, iirc.

Haha, another thing. Go to the clinic and force the back door open. :P

Doctors going to be mad, but you'll gain either light or dark points depending how you handle the situation.

discovered that on my 3rd playthrough. ;P
