    So many new driving games

Expensive time ahead for any racing game fans; look at the line up over the next couple of months; (not in any particular order)

    Burnout 3
    Forza Motorsport
    NFSU: 2
    Outrun 2
    Juiced
    Gran Turismo 4
    Colin McRae 5
    WRC 4

    Have I missed any ?
    Who needs Halo 2/GTA:SA/Sims 2 etc ?

I know - I made a list of all those pre-christmas essential purchases and I was suprised how many driving games there are. Certainly Forza, GT4, Burnout 3 and Outrun 2 are all on my "definates" list, with the others all set to maybe.

I am hoping that some (or all!) will provide good online play as I am a big fan of PGR2 online...

Apparantly, Burnout 3 will come with a playable NFSU2 demo which will be cool

yeah NFSU2 is probably the weakest on the list,

Talizker; I'm more of a RSC2 man than PGR2, I too will be buying the Xbox versions (where available)

Every genre drenched is going to be drenched over the next four months. Maybe not with originality, but at least with some top quality games. Personally, I only see three essential racing games out of that list which I'll be going for.

            Outrun 2
            Burnout 3
            Gran Turismo 4

I don't see the point of getting Colin McRae Rally 5 when you have CMR4 already and I also fancy the 3 above and Fonza Motorsports.

Yup, definitely going to be a great quarter for racing fans like myself. Don't forgot if you dig a bit more contact in your racing Flat-Out and Test Drive: Eve of Destruction (which isn't all that bad) are due soon too.

only ones i'm going for are

                  Burnout 3
                  Forza Motorsport
                  Outrun 2
                  Gran Turismo 4

need for speed underground was just utter crap and wrc 4 and colin mcrae rally 5 will just be more of the same so i dont need to bother with them.

                    Oi! You stole my list

Burnout 3 is the one I'm most excited about. I've lost track of the number of hours I spent on the previous 2.

here my wishlist with some comment.

outrun 2 (xbox) this game i've been waiting for as long as i first played the arcade version. i never expected sega to be able to retain that "feel good" gameplay of the first classic. the first outrun made me fall in love with racing games, and outrun 2 will definately be re confirming this.

burnout 3 (xbox version) this game is so fast, that it feels like a rolercoaster ride ! but YOU controll the vehicle this game is way exelent. the demo on ps2 made me add this game to this list. boy will these month's be ever so expensive. but this adrenaline thrillride will be the fastest racing experience for quite a while !

gran turismo 4 (playstation 2) a new gran turismo with the ever sharp looks, superb replay's (second only to the crashes in BO3) and the only racer witch make me feel that i'm really racing around. the breake peddal is more than just a novelty in this game. i love my arcade games fast and sharp, but this realistic racer (with the new stearing wheel) will silence my hunger for real racing feeling.

need for speed underground 2 (xbox version) i read not much of you like'd the previous version, but i loved it. the only thing i did not love so much whas (and probably still is) that you only drive by night. i'd love to see those sharp graphics at daylight. none the less, this game is fast, arcade stearings, and tune up possibillity's. i love creating my own cars. this game make's it possible. now all i want to see extra in the sequel is the possibillity to make your own decals and sprayings with a designer kit close to that you can find in "rage racer" (playstation version).

forza motorsport (xbox) the team behind the way exelent project gotham racing team does it again ! this game looks so prommising. to bad i haven't seen it moving yet. not even on my power unlimited E3 dvd (power unlimited is a dutch games magazine, where the writers are insane, but have ton's of humor). so i will continue the search for video's about this one.

I too played them to death but wasn't overly impressed by GT4 Prologue, think I've just spent too much time on PGR2 & RSC2, it just seemed like going back a couple of years; not much improvement graphics wise and no real feeling of speed (as you get in RSC2) plus the fact it is 18 months late and probably wont be out here until next year, far too late, can't see it selling that well, even with the Gran Turismo name.
