References to things in Games

Bit of a gash idea for a thread like but I was wondering if any of you have noticed any references to various things be it Films, Books, People etc in any of your games.
I just noticed a reference to my favourite film "Stand by me" in Pokemon Leaf Green and it got me wondering how many little things like that i may have missed during my time playing games.
