Hey there... thought I'd try asking here about SP prices, as most of you guys are from the UK.

I want to buy a silver SP, but I can't find any good deals or prices. I was looking into importing one, but figured it'd be too expensive overall, with postage costs and customs tax.

Does anyone know somewhere I can get a silver SP pretty cheap... preferably boxed with instructions... and would prefer new, but if theres a good used deal, fair enough!

If you're going to import then there are far more interesting colours than silver. Check out Play-Asia (banner at top) to see. I got a Boktai GBA SP from there and didn't have to pay any customs and the price was at least as good as most deals you'd find over here.

You could always import from either Videogamesplus or Tronix. Shouldn't cost more than ?60 (or less if the price cut has come in). Just be sure to ask them to mark down the value of the item.

Thanks for the response so far guys... I checked the sites you gave, and Tronix gave me a price of ?52 including postage! Would I be able to ask them to send it as a 'gift', or would I have to ask them just to say it's worth less than it is?

When ordering there's a comments box. Ask for them to mark it as being no more than US$30 and also as either a gift or a sample. Job done. Be sure to have it sent via boxed weight as opposed to as in a padded envelope if you want your SP to arrive in nice nick.

By the way you'll also need a UK charger. You can get them from the likes of HMV and GAME for around the ?5 mark.

Just to add, Tronix are superb. They will definitely help with the postage decleration. Must have ordered on at least 30 separate occasions from them and every time they've been faultless.

SP chargers are ?6.99 @ GAME BTW.
