Horizontal shooters suck, vertical all the way! -
As far as I'm concerned I would never pay more than ?40 for a shooter as they are invariably short lived or too hard unless you're playing Bangaio!
As for Sengoku Blade I've not tried it yet but if you want to have a quick play before laying down ?60 plus for it the arcade rom is available on Mame.Comment

On the subject of great horizontal shooters... My copy of Hyper Duel arrived from Marcus this morning. I have played it all day, and the high quality of the title shines through. Incredible stuff, with a wonderful sense of impact and violence conveyed by the graphics.Comment

If you like Strikers 1945 1 and 2 you'll like this its very similar (same developer) and the only difference is the fact that its horizontal.
