Thinks of Console Concepts/Another World when high prices are mentioned;

Paid ?70 for SFII Turbo on release, same for Super Mario Kart (SNES), where there's demand they'll always charge the earth, noticed couple of days ago they were selling Jap Gradius V & Perfect DVD for ?99.99 eek, some things never change.

I spent ?60 on REmake when it first came out, and I remember paying ?80 for the U.S fully boxed etc of Chrono Trigger, and I must say CT was well worth it.

?45 for US Tactics Ogre on the GBA - would have been ?30 but got stung for ?15 by customs and UPS for handling fee!!!

Don't ever want to spend more than that though.

But I had well in excess of 3000 hours out of it.

As I said ?15 was customs/UPS handling fee which I hadn't expected. Also I didn't get it until well after it was released and its not easy to find it now as new.

Most expensive game, prolly Samba De Amigo for me, ?100 for Jpn ver with official Maracas, then ?100 again for PAL ver when I completed my PAL DC set an got my 2nd set of maracas.

?69.99 is the most I've paid for a new release - Devil May Cry.

Most profit on one made has to be getting 120 for a Neo Geo CD with 6 games including KOF94, 95, Puzzle Bobble, Samurai 3, Fatal Fury 3 and others. The whole system and 6 games had originally cost me 10 quid off a mate.
