What games would you like to be made for ds

What i would love for the ds is a new pilot wings. Just think about it all the controls on the touch screen and the plane on the top. That or a SSB game.

    Easy. XCOM, Settlers and Zelda:OOT.

I'm not going to stop filling up the internet with posts about XCOM until a proper progression is made by the original team.

I'd love a Pokemon pinball DS (or any decent pinball game). No more scolling screens!!, and you could activate things on the bottom field of the table with teh touch screen.

Perfect stylus-only game: Super Monkey Ball.

The game is on the top screen, with a regular camera view. The bottom screen shows the ground your monkey is sitting on, top-down. You 'tug' the ground left, right, up and down with the stylus to tilt the level, while watching the monkey roll on the top screen. They could get some veeery nice analogue control out of that, I reckon.

Plus... wireless 8-player monkey target/dogfight!! Nice.

I'd personally like to see Steel Batallion. I think it'd be pretty neat with the touchscreen being used for all the levers and buttons while you view the action with the top screen....the submarine demo would be pretty similar in concept (as would the Pilotwings idea described in the first post), except it didn't look as fun.

Perfect Dark remake, with the option of plugging in your N64 pad.
              Never in a million years.

We had a topic on this here...http://ntsc-uk.domino.org/showthread...light=DS+Ideas

                  Round up of my ideas!

                  Rotating Buttons

You could have a platformer where 3 big fat buttons appear on the Touch Screen. "Jump", "Duck" and "Fire". You use the D Pad to move your character and have to touch the button for the action you require. HOWEVER, there is a timer in the game and when it runs down the buttons rearrange themselves so now the Jump button might be the far right button etc. You can collect time capsules to add more time on if you are in a mess with many enemies and don't want the buttons to change, but there is a chance they could change when surrounded by foes if the timer runs down.

I guess now I think about it you could implement it that way. In some levels you have 30 seconds till "Button Muddle" and if you are worried you need the time capsules to give you more time. In other levels you could be free of the "Button Muddle" aroma in the room and it only happens if you are struck by a certain enemy. Buttons are immediately muddled up.

                  Generation Game

                  Generation Game rip off.

The top screen shows a conveyer belt of items. On the bottom screen you have to draw as many of the items as you can (matching the original pic as accurately as possible) to score points, or maybe just use the MIC to recall the items. More of a mini game though, but I'm sure the generation game is highly possible!

Bruce Forsyth on the top screen. On the bottom screen you have to carve objects, make clay pots, spin plates, guide radio controlled boats, dress your character, dance to music etc etc. There could be a question round with multiple choice answers and you have to speak the answer A,B,C or D into the Mic.

                  Tetris/DS Floods

You could have a game where the bottom screen has pipes and wooden caskets and they start springing leaks. This flooding has some kind of adverse affect on your character(s) on the top screen, so using the bottom screen you have to tap the leaks to fill them up, perhaps having to use puzzle shaped items to fill the gaps. Tetris Floods.

                  (Mario) Hole Clogger

Another quicker to describe idea. Character (maybe Mario) is wandering through a level on the top screen trying to get to the top where maybe Peach or a star is waiting. You have to select shaped tiles from the touch screen to fill in shaped holes on the level to stop Mario falling through, or place ladders or ropes or slides to help him out. Each level would have a time limit.

                  R.S.S (Robot Security System)

I like that security camera idea. You could actually play the role of a Robot Security Enforcer. Similar to Night Trap you just spend the whole game monitoring CCTV footage of the premises you are looking after. To begin with the product is on a trial run in a small office of 2 cameras. You look at one view on the top screen, and another on the bottom. When you see anything suspicious you have to switch that camera into "Action Mode" where it becomes set on the touchscreen. From here you can zoom in, move around, set off traps, lock doors, switch on lights - All to prevent the intruder. As you prove your worth you would get upgraded to bigger, more important and more targetted venues such as a corporate bank, a hotel, and finally a large 50 room mansion. Managing 50 cameras on the 2 screens would be damn tough. Maybe a "Activity Camera 5" alert would prove useful. Also, the traps and tricks at your disposal get upgraded as the game goes along. There could be easter eggs such as cats walking around to play tricks on, or comedy cut scenes with women getting undressed or people having affairs. You could have some levels where rather than stopping an intruder you just simply uncover some insider fraud cases.

The only problem with this game is that I am not 100% sure if 3D can be displayed on BOTH screens at the same time.

                  DS Music

I think one of Nintendo's tech demos has you playing Guitar with Pikachu. Someone could put together a fully fledged music package with you playing various instruments with the touch pad at the bottom. Once you have recorded your tune you can layer other instruments onto the top. You can take your song into a studio and use the touchscreen to add effects, edit the song. If you are really brave you can add some vocals over the mic. You can then send these songs wirelessly to other DS users, store them online or just send the files to PC for further editing/playback.

                  Army Camp DS

Build up your troops and train them on the bottom screen in boot camp. When they are ready and armed you send them out onto the battlefield on the top screen to do some damage or get slaughtered. Roll of honour/Memorial hall cannon fodder style. Game will build an emotional attachment to you and your troops like never before!

Looking at the list of future Nintendo releases they've pretty much got everything I could want! Pilotwings would be a good one though, I loved the SNES original.

I really hope Animal Crossing will have lots of new content if it can't be a new game entirely. A straight remake would be disappointing.

A proper 3d Kirby's Dream Course, with stylus use perhaps, could be used to add after touch and things.

Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon, hell, any block game split across two screens the way way Mr Driller is will do me fine.

Some vert shooter, ooh, hmm, Batsugun maybe (never gonna happen), or wireless Twinkle Star Sprites
