I just remembered the crazy stretched-face girl one that Chris Cunningham did for Sony... that was a tad odd, but still very cool. Thinking about it more and reading these, I've gotta agree that Sony had a habit of hitting the nail very much so on the head.

That was a good ad. Sony's 'Mental Wealth' campaign I believe.

I think the girl was meant to look like a Grey in human form. The first time you see it, it certainly takes you by surprise.

Both the Football Manager 2005 & WRC4 adverts which will be on TV soon are some of the better game adverts of recent times.
