Yeah i know that i have missed a lot of PSX classics like Tobal as the market was flooded with below par games and if a game was not something i had set in my mind then i tended to give it a miss. This ment i missed out on some great PSX games.

So many unknown gems- a personal favourite of mine is Enix's Valkyrie profile on ps1. Brilliant action rpg with great feel and soundtrack.

Also Terranigma is one of the best 16-bit rpgs. Bahamut lagoon is probably the finest start rpg pre-fft

I love street slam on the Neo-geo MVS. Unbelievable hip-hop soundtrack for an arcade game to old.

The jap version of Ace combat 3

Princess crown on Saturn (although after edge this has shot up in popularity)

Last blade on NGPC- My favourite handheld fighter of all time

Card fighter clash on NGPC- Beats it out of pokemon

Ring of Red on PS2- I dunno- I just thought this mech strat game was great.

I could be here all day really.

Silent bomber - PSX - entertaining and fun, if a bit of a 1 trick pony. Boss was tough though

Cool Cool Toon - dc, pretty rythm action game few have played

Tokyo Bus Guide - dc, exellent strategic racer

Mini Moni Tambourine - psx, Samba part 2, more interesting controller, but worse songs.

Bishi Bashi Special - psx, track 'n' field style mini games marathon

Tokyo Highway Challenge (1, 2, 0, 01) - dc, psx, ps2, not that many people have played it

Vib Ribbon - psx, again not many people played it

Zero Gunner 2 - dc, fun straight shooter

N20 - psx, has no one played this game? brilliant wipeout/tempest2k fusion written by Tony Crowther (you know! - c64 Gryphon and Suicide Express, amiga Captive, er dc, ps2 Wacky Races...) with cracking crystal method soundtrack. a good western schmup!

Space Channel 5 Part 2 - dc, ps2, fantastic game, get the english pal (not uk) ps2 release now!

Anyone for Mischief Makers aka Yuke Yuke Trouble Makers? Brilliant 2d platformer on the N64 with really varied gameplay (shmup & track & field style elements)and great humour made by Treasure, may not have been overlooked by those on this forum -apologies I'm new, but have yet to encounter anyone who has ever played it...

Well a game I really liked was EinHander by Squaresoft, an excellent shoot'em up with a great soundtrack. Worth a look if you like Raystorm or titles of that ilk.

Olly, sold my Amercian version a while ago I'm afraid but if you're after a PAL version CEX normally seem to flog them fairly cheap, one on their website for 12 squid fairly recently

North and South on the Amiga.

This should have had a GBA conversion by now. ft:

Yes that game seriously rocked. I keep moaning about GBA ports but that is one I would certainly welcome.

Jet Force Gemini is seconded. A. Flying. Dog. With a large rocket launcher.

And Oni. A 3D scrolling beat em up that worked.

Fear Effect(psx) - This is a brilliant title; at least if you can overlook the collision detection problems and bugs. Cool design, great atmosphere and compelling plot make it one of my favourite playstation games. It's an action game although in terms of atmosphere, it becomes more and more like survival horror as you play thru the game.

Gitarooman - Anyone who hasn't played this is missing out on a great little game. Short, but a lot of fun.
