Solid Snake Radio?

Hi,

Was just listening to some old songs, and among them Cornershop - Brimful of Asha... in it, they say "Solid Snake Radio" "...45".
I've searched for it on Google, asuming it may have been some conspiracy theory or something that Kojima took the name from, but haven't even found anything at all... was it just a random reference to the codec by the band being fans of the game? (I believe the song was out just after the game?) :S
