    The Rockstar Ethos

Hats off to Rockstar in the way they've handled San Andreas: A very smalldrip feed of images, no hype, just the public expectation and hope that they deliver on the promise of bettering the excellence of what they have produced before. And it look like they have.

In the era of shattered dreams and broken promises I salute you

Rockstar North have been phenomenal this generation.

GTA III, Vice City and Manhunt have all been superb, and San Andreas is looking to be just as good (if not better). And remember this is a British devco we're talking about.

Arguably the most important videogaming series in the world right now is UK-based, so for all the naysayers that go on about the lack of punch we often have over here, just take a look at the splashes San Andreas is going to make culturally and commercially.

The English call things British because its in Scotland (or maybe Wales) lets face it, that's where all the talent is, Scotland. They should have called it Jockstar.

I read in the metro yesterday that Jim Wallace is off speaking to some guy at Microsoft about the Scottish games industry. Denki, Rockstar, DMA design were listed..

Rockstar, formerly DMA, founded and based in Liverpool, moved to Glasgow. So technically English relocated.

They drink the water, which must be Scotish, and all that Salmon, brain food. Besides, Liverpool, seriously! That'll be where the inspiration for most of their output comes from...think about it...all their output.
