does anyone knoiw the currtent status of metal slug on the xbox and gba. i heard a rummor that thay had both had their uk release canned after they were put back a week. and today game station had an email stating that it wasnt going to be released..... damn it i want to know why. as snk has a euro publisher and distributer....

does anybody know?

I went to Gamestation in Sheffield today and they said it had been put back until December. Don't know how true this all is as the staff seemed amazed that I wasn't there to buy GTA SA.

According to Ignition Entertainment's site, Metal Slug 3 is now out for November. Simplygames has it down for the 12th, with KoF2k/2k1 the week after.

These are for the X-Box versions, btw. The PS2 version of MS3 is put down for november on Ignition's site, as well.

thank god that it hasnt been canned. i work for gamestation but i had a day off today. i wish i didnt now as i would have been in the know as it were. but if it hasnt been canned then i'm well happy

I'm a Sheffield resident, didn't realise you were here, I shall look around for next time. If you work at GS you can tell me if their copy of Zelda LTTP for the SNES has the map with it. I nearly bought that instead!

Yeah, it surprised me too. The Gamestation tagline on the poster reads "The boy's are back in town". Which is grammatically wrong and has nothing to do with the game.

Basically Im a student at the local Uni, I pop into gamestation and the other store further up the road about once a week. Called gameplayers or something, its just down from the city hall and up the road from the moore.
They do GBA imports sometimes.

hehehe, with all the NTSCers living around the Yorkshire area, we might have to do a Yorkshire meet. I know Kaladron is nearby, as is Yoshimoto....
If only my damned work schedule would clear up...

well i just got off the simplygames site and both are now tagged as the 12th of november... wtf do i play now... assuming they meet the date... three new games one weekend?

Amazon.co.uk have this down for a release this friday, and not the 12th.

Either way I'll still be buying it. I just hope it doesnt slip again.
