I've seen one poster on another forum rave about it and Lik-Sang report that they are selling like hotcakes.

Thing is I think Halo plays best on a gamepad. Its designed for the slower pace.

I would only buy H2 if I could use a keyboard and mouse. (started a topic 10 days ago asking if they were compatible with H2)

Don't suppose we even know if it works 100% yet, if it does, all the PC FPS fans will be snapping them up (me included) however PS2 mice & keyboards are a bit old hat, wouldn't USB connectors be better ?

The thread over at the other forum confirmed that it worked well with Halo 1 (you need to turn sensitivity up to max) so can't see it being any different for Halo 2.

As for people who prefer pads ...................... amateurs

Of course not, taken to the extreme that would require everyone to get a keyboard and mouse.

I think the game should be played with the pad, as the developer intended.

Trying to gain an advantage by using the keyboard and mouse is low, imo. What is so good about the world of online console gaming is that it presents a level playing field where everyone has the same specced system, with the same limitations... Allowing peripherals like this to be used online corrupts what is currently a fair and balanced online environment.

So I can't use my uber pad that provides macro-button configs and other special abilities, either?

The world of online gaming presents none of those things.
