ok once again, without spoiling the game for me...

I have reached the point where -



SPOILERS



Zelda is revealed and the real quest is revealed etc. I am just heading off to get the item that lifts heavy objects.

How far am I into the quest?

When is a good time soon to go off and play with the side quests and islands? (I am too into the quest to do so! Why is it that when I was saving my sister he kept me on track but now its like the world being at stake isn't as urgent?)

You are quite far in but if you've not attempted any sidequests you have lots of game time remaining. You still have some dungeons ahead too.
