Moto GP 4 (PS2) confirmed for Spring 2005 release

Not worthy of a headline thread really, due to there not being too many two wheeled fans here, but great news for fans of the series like me, with added Network play and again hopefully we'll have Namco online rankings this title should kick ass.

Personally I prefer the Namco series greatly over the Xbox Moto GP titles although I guess Moto GP 3 on Xbox will surface some time next year.

Your trusted source for video game news, reviews and guides, since 1999.

Namco's also added 125cc and 250cc classes to the racing roster
Excellent, I've been waiting for this addition for ages.

This game will rock, and there'll be new features like learning how to ride a bike.

Moto Gp is a really underated game. It's not as excellent as Moto GP on Xbox but it's a great arcade racing game. Also it's the game that made me buy a PS2.

The only concern is that after prolonged play your thumb kills because the brake button has to be pressed so hard for it to work efficently. Hopefully the update will have 60hz, some more excellent custom tracks and a more elegent and subtle control over your bike.

If thats sorted then Ridge Racer has some competition!

This new control over the bike might turn this arcade game into a perfect simulator. It means a realystic performance over the track. I played Moto GP2 and in a short left time it becomes annoiyng and boring cause the controls are so easy that you memorize all the actions. I think that wth MOto GP 4 Namco will set the pace about bikes competition.
