NDS Protective Screen?

does the ds pen not mark the bottom screen?

I was frantically rubbing at the screen playing Feel the Magic and it doesnt seem to have done anything. It shouldnt really mark considering the games use it quite heavily.

my bottom screen looks fine but on closer inspection there are hundreds of marks where the stylus has been

and i have feel the magic and its a rub frenzy

Although i have faith that nintendo toughened up the touch screen. im taking no chances so i have ordered a set of protectors that way i can really hammer the screen without the slightest worry.

If your going to go down the screen protector route may i recommend the officially liscensed hori protectors. My mate has them on his & he says they are fantastic. The one for the top screen has 3 layers (anti reflective/hard coat/silicone base) and the one for the touch screen has (hard coat/ silicon base). They are wafer thin & have no adhesive as the silicon base sticks to the screen so you can reposition them again & again.

Play asia & liksang both have them in i think. Heres the official page on the hori site

Same here mate, they're not noticeable when games are on, but when you're up close you can see thousands of marks on it.

Iv ordered one of those Crystal Filters importaku, its shipped from P-A so should be here in a week or so. Will post impressions up on arrival. Should be rather nice.

Yep I found the marks are easy to remove with a tissue too...

Im undecided about getting the protectors myself as they tend to dull the image

Well I've put a set of the Hori protectors in with an order from LikSang (to use one of my $20 off coupons... oh yes they gave me a coupon for each DS I ordered!) so we'll see if they are useful when it gets here.
