Just watched the 40min developer interview on gamespot and apparently they've made it a goal to make sure that the games visual/tech settings can be scaled to give good performance on as wide a range of systems as possible. Obviously it won't look nearly as good but will still be playable and give a fair impression of the game experience, the developer quoted a 700Mhz machine with TNT 2(i presume) graphics as being viable (erk). They demoed the game on a P4 2Ghz with a GF4.
