    Parcel Farce

Is it common PF policy now to just dump stuff on your doorstep, in the snow/rain?

Came back home just to find RR PSP in just that position, thankfully it was srunkwrapped, im kinda glad YesAsia cancelled my PSP order now or chances are that would have been sat on my doorstep for godknows how long.

Im tempted to phone up and deny reciept, if only to make the point they shouldnt just abandon ****.

Kudos to YesAsia though, Free copy of GameWave wrapped up in the jiffy bag

As Starskey And Hutch say,Do It. I wonder if the managers know they are doing that? Bloody annoying imo.

Royal Mail rip the piss out of me on a regular basis - rinse them for all you can and I'll sleep soundly. They've "Lost" yet another parcel of mine since I started that thread about it in off-topic and some character figures I ordered last month havent arrived yet (doubt they ever will tbh)

I use TNT option, or UPS. Never had a problem with them to day, Parcel Force on the other hand have managed to lose several packages, one being a modified Panasonic Q.

Yes. It's customary for them to sign for stuff on your behalf then dumping it in full view of your street.

I'd much rather pay the extra and risk customs with the likes of UPS and TNT than use Parcel Farce.

I'd be ringing them up, "wheres my package!!!!!"

Brief PF anecdote: a delivery guy appeared at the office on Friday, wanting to know where number 94 was. The house numbers on this road are particularly poor, so I had the chap inside and consulted my local map. I noted he had a small parcel to deliver. Turns out 94 was right next to our office block, although it didn't have a number on the outside.

Fast forward to this morning and another PF guy turns up on the door step, wanting to know where number 94 was - I note he's holding that same package.

Presumably "it's next door, mate" was too complicated for the driver who arrived here on Friday.

I suppose saying nothing would be the engilsh way but this pisses me off enough to make a claim. Tho I suppose that would make me as bad as them.

I've noticed the Royal Mail are doing this more often now; leaving packages on the doorstep. Not so long ago they'd leave it with neighbours, or, gasp, ring the doorbell

I had the Singstar game with Mics left on the doorstep for 3 hours befor eI realised by Royal MAil.

Parcel Force came EARLY on Sat morning (7 45) and of course I was conked out in bed, so didn't hear them. They didn't leave it on the doorstep tho, they came again today.

If only they could come that time on a weekday!

If no one's in Royal Mail leave stuff in either our garage or coal shed. They'll even sign recorded stuff off and leave them in there. It saves a lot of hassle of having to go down to the depot so I'm quite pleased they do it.

****ing claim mate. at the end of the day it could of easily been nicked so you may aswell teach them a lesson. i ordered some books last week and they left them on the doorstep. called up the book company first to say where smy package and they sent a new set out right away. then parcel force did the same thing again, keft them smack bang in the middle of my doorstep! so i thought **** it and claimed again.
