Nintendo DS purchase

Mulling over a Nintendo DS purchase and looking for some advise on those lucky boys out there currently enjoying here own.

Want to know what 2 games to get with this and how they function, being JAP/American copies and all.

Looking to get one ASAP, just dont know what the best thing to get with it

Mario seems to me to be a must have - my 2nd choice was feel the magic - i would have liked wario ware, but the US release is on the 14th feb so i think i'll wait so as to avoid any potential language niggles

Haven't got one (yet) but Santa may be kind... Anyhow, I'm loving the online Zoo Keeper flash game. Horribly addictive but so simple. I think if there's any justice, it'll do for the DS what Tetris did for the GB.

I got Mario 64 DS with mine and its awsome, waiting for RR in the post.

Plus if you get a US one u get the metroid demo which passes some time.

Have to agree that you should buy Mario and Feel the Magic.Make sure you get a US machine,especially if you know someone with a DS and the Metroid demo as you can have wireless deathmatches.

YOU BASTARD!! Left the forum about half 1 and missed G-Funks post!! Ended up payin 180 plus Ridge Racer, which is ace!! Cheers for that though mate, would have been nice!!

Am waitin on Mario DS... mate (Yoshimax-UK) bought one today aswell and got Mario. His pre-ordered copy is going to me when it arrives... he just couldn't wait for it come

Any views on other games to get! Ridge Racer will be the main attraction for me for a while but thinkin ahead!!

Mardigan - last I saw CA Games just off Byres road had a DS and some games in, though this was about three weeks ago. They wanted ?180 for the DS (erk) but games were around ?30. Just a tip off if you're in Glasgow.

Cheers mate!! Actually picked my copy of Ridge Racer up in there, they had EVERY game, was like a kid in a sweetshop, settled for Ridge Racer and am well pleased. Playin it you gotta remember this is handlheld machine. Aint had a handheld since first Gameboy so take bit of gettin use to.

Overall quality is 100 times more than I excpected, interface is a dream!! Cant wait for my Mario and Mario Kart DS to arrive what a christmas!!

Cheers for the tip off Paleface, got my game from CA and console from G-Force (they were sellin it for 150, not bad) Could not be arsed waitin on internet order... had to have it TODAY!! So impressed with the little beauty!!

CA games had the prices at 40 I think. Not bad, but save around 20 quid id play asia, which I will prob use from now on. Mario on the way and Spiderman and Mario Kart look like they will be getting ordered soon
