Three Wishes for 2005

Haven't seen one of these threads around yet, apologies if there is.

What are your three personal hopes to get out of gaming this coming year? My own, in no particular order...

#1: Shenmue 3 to be announced, be it in movie or game form (I WILL NEVER LET THIS ONE GO. EVER)

#2: The next-gen consoles to be "spaced out" enough so that us early birds won't be spending ?1000+ on nabbing them all in the same month >_<

#3: For Sega's next US football game to still sell well and show EA that money does not equal success (so that they can hopefully pull their fingers out of their arses and make improvements to a game which is in dire need of a proper update).

1) The new Zelda game on GC to be the best yet

2) Treasure to resurrect Salamander, Gradius V-style.

3) And Sega Rally 2005 to not be ****.

There is a thread already, but it has turned into an EA-spamfest

1) New Tekki title. Or maybe a special edition of the original game, using Taisen's graphics engine. And released with the "original" controller, 'cos the second iteration isn't as durable.

2) Daytona, online.

3) Aye, Sega Rally 2005 to be fairly competent instead of the license-whore it looks like at the mo.

1) Wanda and the Colossus to be as great as I hope it will be
2) Game prices to keep coming down (can't grumble with the prices I'm paying, with most purchases being the ?20 mark)
3) No new console releases this year (I've got far too many games I still haven't played - see point 2)

rumor has it then shenmue 3 is being made for the next gen.

1.) Nintendo will finally translate Giftpia
2.) That no new consoles will be released till christmas 06' as i have so many to play
3.) I hope more quality original titles will get mainstream support like Katamari Damashii did so we get more

1) Sega do an about turn and include full xbox live functionality in monkey ball DLX.
2) Sega Rally 2005 not to suck ass (I didn't realise so many people suspected this)
3) Daytona. Online. On Xbox.

I would like to see the Nintendo Revolution to be revolutionary, The Nintendo DS to actually wireless talk to it with a little more fantasticery than the GC GBA thing and for err Sega Rally 2005 to be good, because that seems like a reasonable wish.

for sega to announce that they are resurrecting the 'katana' and that it will launch in 2006 with a launch line up that will BLOW YOUR MIND

also, capcom fighters megamix will appear and have every character from every capcom game ever in it

Shenmue 3 like everybody else

New Castlevania on PS2 to be 2D with Guilty Gear type sprites and twice as big as Symphony of the Night

Sega release a new Console-which turns out to be the best console ever made, and wierdly sells billions.

New consoles to be region free -would certainly help prevent Piracy as there would be no legimate reason to Mod!

A whole host of new Shenmue games

None of this will happen, bar Shenmue 3, but i can only dream!
