Games You've Finished In 05 & those you promise/want to

As with last year, list the games you've completed in 2005 and those you are planning on finishing

    Completed
    Metal Gear Solid 3
    Resident Evil 4
    Half-Life 2
    Oddworld Stranger
    God of War
    Fahrenheit
    Katamari 2

    Currently playing
    Battlefield 2
    Shadow of the Colossus
    Phoenix Wright

    On order

    Given up on...
Viewtiful Joe 2 - dull, uninspired fighting trash. Not a patch on the original.
Metroid Prime 2 - can't be bothered with this game anymore.
Zelda Minish Cap - couldn't be bothered
KOTOR2 - can't get passed the opening stage
Ratchet and Clank 3 - enjoyed it, but I found the end sections way too difficult.

After a pretty good start, I've been very bad this year. I blame World of Warcraft, which I've now pretty much stopped playing...

Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap a new classic. brilliant all the way through.
        February
nothing. cant believe how badly i'm doing this year compared to last. and its all the fault of 3rd strike and xbox live.
        March
        nothing once more
        April
Mr Driller DS finally finished another game. it took a long time, but usagi is now mine.
        May
Metal Gear Solid 3 took 18 hours over 3 days. a very enjoyable experience. although not a huge amount of game in there, i would recomend any body to play through it. an excellent story that isnt anywhere near as crazy as 2. very glad i put the effort in and did it all.
        June
Nintendogs i dont suppose technically it can be finished, but i can win all the events easily. i just cant be bothered playing on to unlock more dogs. good fun while it lasted though
        July
Namco X Capcom 67 hours. it really is dragged out quite a lot, but seeing all those characters together is great.
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat i'm crap at this, and my hands hurt from clapping harder and harder every time, but its great fun.
        August
        bit of a summer lull
        September
Oeundan great game, but i can only do it on easy and normal, the rest is too hard
Jump super stars cant be bothered to get all conditions on all stages, but i have done quite a few. if it wasnt for all the recognisable characters i probably wouldnt have bothered.
Moto GP 3 (xbox) have done all the championships on legend difficulty. i dont think its as good as the second game was though.
King of Fighters 2003 (xbox) only played through it a few times. mostly i just mess around in practice mode. a nice change to 3rd strike though.
        October
Ridge Racers done everything except max tours, and i doubt i'll ever be able to do those.
Taiko no tatsujin psp. gold on all easy levels, quite a few golds and all the rest silver on normal, just a few silvers on hard. i cant really see me ever getting much better than that.
        November
Fable the lost chapters. well, i think i've finished it. i beat jack at the guild which i beleive is the end of the normal game, and anything after is just extras...but there wasnt really any ending as such. tbh i got bored and just wanted to get it done, so i probably wont do much else. Not as good as i had hoped after reading the original first play thread.
Mobile Suit Gundam: One year war ps2. shortest game ever. but quite nice land based missions worked much better than the space ones though

Unfortunately, I still have a huge backlog of games that I purchased last year, including...

          Star Ocean: The Second Story
Star Ocean: Til the End of Time
          Devil May Cry 1/2
Resident Evil Zero (Just reached Disc 2 yesterday! Getting there!)
          Resident Evil Remake
          Resident Evil Outbreak
          Tales of Symphonia
Mario64 DS (Working my way though, but kinda hard in Japanese)

          Hell, I could go on.

The worst part is I'm about to buy a load more games... Ridge Racer DS is due any time soon, as is Ridge Racers PSP... got my Resident Evil 4 preorder there.... got some Game vouchers which I'm going to use on Final Fantasy 1&2...

Pain in the ass... I work so I can buy these games, yet have no time to play them because of work...

is this the wrong site to say Ratchet & Clank 3 has me hooked (nearly done it just 1 or 2 levels to go) whilst Halo 2 sits gathering dust about halfway thru (bored me).

to regain my hardcore credentials though I am determined to unlock all the lumines skins on the psp.

Not at all! I'm right at the end of Rachet & Clank 3 and it is a fantastic game, very easy to play...until you get into the final levels where it gets rock solid
Will have to finish this too...

Have you played 1 and 2? Although 3 is consistently harder (By which I mean it starts harder than the others and doesn't really fluctuate much), I didn't find any real sticking points in comparison to some bastard hard bits on the others. Best bet is to go through all of Annihilation Nation (Even Qwarks Challenge!) and get all of the weapons up to Omega level, and invest in some decent armor too. The sewer crystal challenge is a decent, and fairly easy way to gain cash and levels too.
