Name your greatest arcade completion achievement

Let's face it, anyone with moderate resources was capable of finishing the likes of Double Dragon, Streetfighter2, Kung fu Master, Outrun, Final Fight etc. It felt sorta good that you could complete 'em but, if you were honest, you'd realise that half of the other people in the arcade could as well.

Irrespective of how many credits you actually used to achieve it - what's the longest/ most difficult arcade game that you actually managed to complete - has anyone out there ever managed to complete the likes of Wonderboy?....or even Gauntlet -Does it loop?

.........and if anyone out there actually did manage to finish Gauntlet without cheating or anything like that, I would genuinely like to shake your hand. Even on freeplay (Atari Collection 2 PSX) I got bored (after over an hour of non tactical, kamakaze type play) without even managing to finish it!

I remember being able to complete alien versus predator(side scrolling) with one 50p, don't know whether that was good or if everyone did it?

Well...I completed Space Harrier in the big hydraulic cab once. It cost me ?8 to do it which, at 50p a go, was a lot of credits. Very hard game, and big for an arcade game.

Still, It left me with a great deal of satisfaction when I finally did it. And a big head buzz for playing such an intense game in an arcade for so long.

I got to the last boss in Shadow Dancer a few times. Never could work how to kill it.

          1 credited Vandyke, Golden Axe.

          Finished Rolling Thunder 2.

It ususally didn't take much for me to generate a crowd in my arcade. Nobody had any money so they were happy to watch.

Well, I don't know if it's an achievement, but I finished 1942 on one credit.
Maybe not, because I was bad at difficult coin-ops like Ghost'n'goblins.

Mortal Kombat 2 was too easy once you figured out that walking cheat you could do on the computer I saw little kids clocking that game!

Nope.. i refuse to beleive anyone can beat a KOF game in one credit!

the game must be programmed that the last boss wont get defeated untill at least the machine is half full of change!

Splatterhouse with 1 life which i think is pretty good

                          Shinobi with 1 life

and Mortal Kombat 2 using shang tsung morphing into other characters and pulling off their fatalities - with 1 life

with Kintaro and shao khan - easy just jump kick in the corner

I was lucky that day, picked brazil and just constantly dodged and backhanded and comboed him, I remember I was in a rush that day and clocked it in around 20 mins and rushed out as soon as the ending was playing everyone looking on with awe 8)

                            what walking cheat?
Certain bug in some versions of Mortal Kombat 2 which enabled you to make the computer walk to the edge of the screen then you would jump back then back in and do a combo, repeat constantly
                            Shinobi with 1 life
You have my respect that last boss was a **** when you didn't know his attack patterns

Not completed but Level 75 of Bubble Bobble on 1 credit including diamond room on level 20 missed the one on 40.

Also Wonderboy I could last about 45 minutes on 10p. I could get to the stage where the landscape sort of turn into a metallic drums look (*killed 3 or 4 main bosses), there was some serious hard jumps on ice and wasps floating through the floor of the levels. great game. Never got any further than this though, I would like to know how much more there was left it if anybody can advise.
