Dracula X/Castlevania SotN - PSX or Saturn?

    So which is it?

This beauty seems to have passed me by & I want some 2D Drac action - I understand that the Sat version has extras (are they worthwhile?) but have been told that the PSX version is better.

Also, the Sat version goes for big ????s, whereas the PSX game has a re-release price (in Jpn)

    Opinions?

Yeah I've actually got both versions:
Playstation: Pros- Best looking of the two versions (technically),
    runs the smoothest ,
    available in the US(english)
Cons-dosn't have the extras of the saturn version,
    apart from that nothing..

Saturn: Pros-Some say it looks better in an artistic kind of way..
Extra 'levels' portions of the map not on the ps version,
You can be Maria!!! (saturn only) and also richter without having
unlock him like the Ps version.
Tons of new Items and extras (including new music)
Japanese voice acting is better although the Ps (ntsc) english voice acting is not too bad.
You get to use one of the best joypads ever made.

Cons- Looks more pixelated than the Ps version and has noticecable sometimes painful slowdown when there are loads of enemies on screen plus it has slightly longer loading times.
Need to be able to read Japanese to understand storyline and the various Items you are equipping.
Looking at the map can be annoying (loading)as the configuration to access it is inferior to the Ps version.

I'd say get the PS version and if you like it a lot then get the saturn version for the extras

you can pic up both versions for around the same price ?40-60

but there was re release budget version in japan (without the music cd and artbook) for around ?20-30

      psx version edges it (just)

      try http://www.videogameimports.com/

as they have 3 jap saturn, and the cheaper psx versions in just now.
