Deus Ex: Invisible war... Which ending... (spoilers)

... does it continue on from? Out of the three available in Deus Ex, which one does number 2 run with?

    Does anyone know?

My personal fave was the one with Tracer Tong, but as that was a little too apocalyptic then i don't know. Out of the other two... Hmm, joining with Morpheus (was that it's final name?) doesn't lend itself to continuation, and the shots of JC with greying hair in the third ending where you join the illuminati seems more than 10 years after the game end, IMO.

So which one is it using?

According to an interview/preview (can't remember which) the real ending is pretty simple to work out when you start playing the sequel.

Guess you'll have to wait for November

Well, judging by the robots and technology I've seen in Invisible War screenshots the 'EMP blast' ending is out, as that would be a world with only fleeting examples of tech.

It has to be either the Illuminati ending or JC joining with the super A.I, I personally think it will be the latter to make JC a more interesting character when you bump into him in the sequel, sort of like an Oracle of almost infinite knowledge. But, that said, the Illuminati ending was by far the most accomidating for a sequel, it would require little to be changed about the universe that Deus Ex existed in, so who knows?

I was thinking the same thing.

It would be nice of them to be brave and go with the tracer tong ending though.

I liked the AI ending. What was it called now? Aaah, Helios, that was it. I've seen the Tracer Tong ending but I still haven't seen the Illuminati one. All three were pretty poor though

I wonder if the exclusive PS2 Deus Ex will follow a different ending? It would be interesting to explore the different futures, and would expand my love of the universe greatly.

          Unlikely, though
