What do you make of the other games store in there? I think I popped in twice but they never really seemed to have anything special to offer or any good deals. Can't even remember their name. ePlay is it?

ezg, Looking at the map on the Bullring web site, it does look like its in the bit that links the Bullring to the Palasades (as Legendary mentioned).

I went in a few days ago, wasn't really anything special unfortunately. Prices seemed in-line with what GAME and Gamestation offer on chart and pre-owned stuff (of which they had loads of). Staff seemed friendly enough though.

Nope, pretty much just another GAME clone though with more of an emphasis on DVDs.

I was quite impressed with them in New York, the staff knew what they were talking about and were surprisingly helpful. It felt like an indi store to be honest - a clean one.

totaly agree I've been to the Boston, New York and San Jose branches and they were all very knowledgeable and helpful with a good selection of hardware and software. The Boston branch also has quite a hot looking and friendly broad working there too.

The Gamestop in Belfast in a ****ing horrible place. Some incredibly insane prices; Polarium ?29.99 anyone? How about ?24.99 for Warioware (GC)?

When it first opened I asked the sales guy (who was incredibly enthusiastic), if they planned to stock retro/imports. He then told me "Why would we need those, we`re the biggest in America". Great i said "another shop that sells exactly the same products as GAME/Dixons round the corner". Don`t think he was too pleased. I was really hoping it would be a bit different.


I can remember bringing a few games in for part ex, and almost before I had them out of my bag, the assistant was shaking his head saying "oh you know you wouldn`t get much for those" attitude.

I remember them offering me 19p for Fantavision lol

I also remember being offered ?10 cash for Mariokart DD, about a week after it was released.

I occassionally stand near the counter, just to hear some of the bull**** spouted from the assistants mouths. Talk about a brown fountain lol
