    There's metal slug.

I tried to like Iridium, but couldn't. Good music though.

I got its mr pants today ..reminds me a lot of denki blocks desipte being a totally different block puzzle concept. Does what it does very well, is amusing in a cute way and suprisingly enjoyable.

A better game than DK King Of Swing, Mario Vs Donkey Kong & Super Mario Ball and as good as Denki Blocks.

Steel Empire is an excellent shooter, similar to Gradius baad bwoy. Based on an old Mega Drive game.

Steel Empire was a great game, at least the MD version was. Remember Mean Machines likening it too Laputa.,...dont see the resemblance tbh, but the style is still v.cool.

Havnt been following, but is the general theme that GBA is dead now DS is here to annoy us all??

The DS has brought the GBA alive for me, of course all that might change in March.

Thinking of picking up DK King of Swing after the good feedback in the First Play thread, I'm at the end of Minish Cap That game pwnz the hardest!!ONEONE!!11!!

Steel Empire / Koutetsu Teikoku looks worth a look too!

Nice one Bowser, was it ever released outside Japan?

No, Japan only I'm afraid. However it's all in English bar the story in the cut scenes. You broadly have an idea of what is going on via the movie that accompanies the text, mind.

Another good one, albeit basic, is Darius R. Rather cheekily PA want $50 for it now- when I bought it from them on week of release they only wanted $20. Hmm.

Did you ever play Sunset Riders. Metal Slug in style set in the Wild West. Arcade and SNES IIRC. Anyhow, I have a game that's very similar to it, Metal Gunslinger. Good fun and a decent challenge.

As for the GBA being dead, IMO no. It's still my most used format (albeit GBA played through DS nowadays), there's an absolute ton of quality games out that people seemingly simply have never heard of.

I must take this opportunity to recommend Slime Morimori Dragon Quest. A very quirky and fun zelda clone that doesn't neccessarily require any japanese language skills unless you need to know exactly what's going on. It's pretty obvious what to do.

An evil group of Momonja's called the Tails brigade has attacked the Slime village of Surlun Town. As Slayin the Slime, naturally, you must trek across Slime Island and save all 100 residents of Surlun Town and take down the Tails brigade in the process. Anyway, that's the basic gist of the story.

Personally I found it to be a solid gaming experience upto the last villager. Hopefully this will be localized at some point as the dialogue seems pretty crazy, in a good way

Well... Klonoa 2 Dream Champ Tournament comes out next week in the US, and it's well worth an import (although nowhere near as good as Klonoa Heroes.) Much the same as the first Klonoa, only more puzzle based and with more stuff to collect.

Racing Gears Advance is a very very very good racing game, probably the best on the GBA and it doesn't try to be all flash and 3D. Pick up Astro Boy if you haven't played it already, should be in the shops next week... that's all I can think of recently.

GBA isn't as dead as people think. The latest Battle Network games (which are actually getting positive reviews for once) are due out, as well as Rockman Zero 4. Pokemon Emerald is still coming, same with Warioware Twisted and some other games which I can't remember. Oh yes, remakes of Goemon 1 and 2 coming to JP on the GBA if you fancy an import.

Excuse me, I think you need an attitude adjustment, or at the very least your testicles dropping.
There've been loads of fine answers to your rather demanding post, yet there's not been a single word of thanks. You keep acting like everyone here owes you something...

Le sigh... I have to get on that "ignore list" bandwagon.

Too late he can't hear you!

I keep forgetting about Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. Probably cos I've not seen it in any stores round my way. Shall hunt in town this weekend. Same can be said for Advanced Wars too

Plenty of 'Harry Potter's Flying Quidich' tho...
