I doubt it as it's not Street Fighter is it?
GGXX is a bit more complex than SF. I'd suggest just picking someone you initially like and stick with it.

Easier said than done when I've had a lifetime hobby of videogames and videogames collecting!

And then there's work, gf, internet (not for porn - honest) and many other stuff and you'll start to realise that people don't have asm uch time dedicated to games as much as before!

I'm finding it very difficult to get into this game as it's my first time I've really played it since I bought it a few months ago...

However, (whilst this may sound somewhat elitist) there is little point in the playing the game if you are not willing to dedicate a decent amount of time towards it.

I could throw buzzwords such as 'deep' or 'heavy' at you when describing the game system but there really is a lot to understand in the game above learning a list of special attacks, which takes at least months of dedicated practice (don't even think about attempting the game's mission mode with out a firm grasp of even the game's most fundamental basics).

Not that I want to discourage you. It is a game that I (mistakenly) overlooked a couple of years ago yet now regularly play along with SC2.[/b]

not played XX, but in X i always thought Jam, chip and Milia were best.
(but i wasnt that good, so maybe dont listen to me )

when you become as good as me you can start to use testament.

sol's a good character to learn though, when you feel you've mastered him, start on his EX character, who has slight tweaks.
