Which of these would you play next????

Need help in deciding which to play next. I work nights as a security guard and basically entertain myself for 8-9 hours a night (With ps2 included )

Can't decide which to start tonight. Each RPG i've missed and never got around to playing so they're all still sealed!

    Either......

    Xenosaga
    Final Fantasy X
    .Hack vol1
    Grandia Xtreme

I can't decide at all so need help!!!

I'd start FFX. I'm playing FFX International just now and it's excellent. Xenosaga is a class game too! The choice as they say... is yours?

        Definately Final Fantasy X.

I've just started Xenosaga this weekend, and it's a little...ass-tastic

Was Grandia Xtreme ever given an english language release? I never found one. I would have played that if the beginning weren't so baffling - it's not intuitive like Radiata Stories is.

I'd reccomend FFX - it's a good all-rounder and you pretty much know what to expect from SquareEnix in terms of qualities. Xenosaga has the more intricate and interesting story but is a much subtler, acquired taste; i'm not sure if i'm keen on episodic gaming really.

Grandia Xtreme was released in the USA around the back end of 2002. It's fairly hard to get hold of. I had to resort to eBay to get mine.

Is it a PS2 release, becuase this is the fisrt I've heard of it? All this Grandia talk has got me searching for another copy of it! I was never a fan of the DC version, not that I gave it the time it probably deserved, I loved Grandia on the PSOne.

It's a PS2 release, which had a very limited print run in North America. Here's a nice picture of the boxart:

It's very similar to Grandia II in terms of graphics and feel. However there is no real storyline - it's one long dungeon crawl. If you loved the battles from Grandia II you'll like this.

EDIT: Just thought I'd add that the voice actors include Dean Cain (of Superman fame), Mark Hammill (of Star Wars) and Lisa Loeb (My Name is Luca). So yeah the voice acting is decent.

                    Its absolutely awful....

                    Don't talk about it anymore.

.Hack is nice, read the review of it.

FFX has a great storyline, awesome soundtrack. It should be the easiest one to pick up from that list.

As for Xenosaga...download the anime episodes through bittorrent, and then thank me for doing you a favour.

I am gay for Grandia II's battle system That's why I was always keen to find it but the US release just slipped right past me. Never found the bastard at retail. To ebay for me then...
