Yes, but it isn't that hard to get in. I got in because a mate works in a game shop and he "invented" my work position. So long as you provide what they ask (which you can find out from the website), then you'll be fine. Be sure to take everything you need on the first day too...Originally posted by mission
Is it worth going to the States just for E3? No, not at all. If you are going, be sure to have a holiday also - I went to New York for a few days, which I have to say was far more enjoyable than E3 itself. That said, I really enjoyed the show and will certainly be going again, though not this year. I recommend aiming for a hotel near to, or in, Downtown LA, because the place is freaking huge and having to get a taxi each way, each day is very pricey.
Don't expect too much, expect to wait a lot, expect to come out feeling close to deaf and death, and you'll find it pretty unforgetable.Comment

next year will be better :P we'll have something other than tech demo's to play on the next gen machines XD
Doubt I'll be able to go til 2007 at the earliest tho
