    Which DS launch games?

I'm tempted to pickup DS today, but the only title i know about is WarioWare, so of the launch titles... whats worth getting ot can some provided a brief rundown of all the launch games?

Also any GBA games worth it? I haven't had new GBA game since Mario Kart was 1st released on on it (blame the no backlight for that)

Other than Wario the 3 pal titles id probably buy are:

Mario64 - The same classic game with more stars to collect, and plenty of unlockable minigames, and characters.

Feel the magic - Mini games tied into a storyline of trying to impress a girl. Some great minigames, but also some frustrating and crap ones (but probably only around 25 mini games in total, but each one has 10 levels of difficulty to attempt). It can be difficult as hell sometimes, or extremely easy. You can play through the game in story mode completing mini games in order with the story, when youve finished a game in story mode it becomes unlocked in 'memories' mode which allows you to play though the games again to unlock new clothes for the girl you fancy.

Sprung - Havent played it, but from reading the cover its a dating game of somekind, sounded intresting but I dont know anything futher.

          Zoo Keeper rocks!

Mr Driller was a bit crap when I had that, but I had US ver, from sounds of it the Jpn ver was alot better, and the UK ver is the Jpn ver.

Rayman DS I believe is port of Rayman 2 with multiplayer (European Exclusive apparantly).

basically, the EUR DS has the sort of launch lineup the US shud have had imo.

Hmm, Polarium is okaaaay, but not great. Same for Zoo Keeper.

Get importing man, the prices are about the same. Meteos is the best DS puzzle so far. UK Mr Driller seems like a good choice too.

Wario Ware and Mario 64 are both essential. even though though Mario is shoehorned into the DS it's still the best platformer of all time, but it's worth pointing out that the control method takes time to get used to; like a good couple of days but once it clicks it's fine. the minigames are excellent too.

after that don't bother with UK releases. Yoshi is out next week US and you can pick it up for ?19 incl delivery.

Just headed down to my local Gamestop to check out the prices. The DS was 150euro but I nearly fainted when I saw the games. Polarium was cheapest at 35 euro with everything else being 50euro!!

That works out at $65, so you pay for games twice over here in Ireland. Lovely.

Feel the magic (project rub) is a must, but i recommend that you dont buy this and wario at the same time, if you want to appreciate them both the most.

Sprung's reasonably good fun. It's far, far, FAR from great but it gave me a laugh for a few hours.

I would personally go for Feel The Magic and Warioware on launch.

dvdboxoffice.com. generally it's best to pre-order as early as you can with them to secure shipping on release, though you should be ok. be prepared to wait a week for delievery. alternatively you could pay a few quid more and get it that little bit sooner from videogamesplus or tronix. it's also the best game on the DS, though my opinion may change after playing Meteos.
