    NDS wireless compatibility?

Sorry if this is an answered question, but I have searched the forums without finding a definite answer - it seems to be certain that the games are not region-coded, but no words about whether an Asian NDS could communicate with a, say, European one.

I'm thinking about getting one of the coloured NDS, but one thing unsettles me: Playasia is actually listing "Wireless compatibility to US Nintendo DS? consoles" as a feature.

The GBA-Zelda a Link to the Past actually has this incompatibility. I had the US version of it, but its 4 Swords part wasn't compatible to the European version, so I thought I'd better ask.

There's no region locking when it comes to wireless compatability. I have a Jap machine myself and have tested this myself. There's probably comatability issues with games requiring more than 1 cart. I doubt you could play a Jap Mr Driller cart with a UK cart for example.

I went to an anime convention at the weekend and we did alot of NDS experimenting and came to the following conclusions:

-All DS's communicate fine between regions, we played Mario DS with a UK, US and Jap machine, with a Jap cart with no problems at al
-Different countries carts are not compatible, we tried a US machine with a US demo cart of Metroid vs a UK machine and UK cart and it did not work

We also did alot of pictochatting to arange games, which worked really well. We had 7 or so linked at once. We also tested the distance which is quite good. I managed to go out of a room, down a corridor to a bar and go to the far end of the bar and i was still connected.
