Transfer Gran Turismo 4 photo's to PSP

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere and i'm not too sure if this is the relevent section (maybe Q + A would be better) but however as mentioned in the title i was messing around in photo mode in Gran Turismo and i haven't got a USB storage dongle so i thought "What would happen if i connected my PSP to the PS2 and use that as a storage device?", so i tried it and sure enough BINGO transferred no problem! It was then just a matter of connecting the PSP to my PC and transferring the pics to my PC!! It even makes it's own GT4 folder on the PSP mem stick!

So a nice little touch if like me you don't have a portable usb storage thing!!

Well, It does not work for me. I just get an error message on GT4.

Yes I did. I'm using the PAL GT4 if that makes any difference.

I tried doing it with my iPod to see if that would work but it didn't so I just bought a USB Stick.

Which type of PS2 do you have, the old type or a slimline?

Bugger! I've just reluctantly turned on file storage mode on my Mini for this specific reason, after someone suggested it would work. Be a right pain if it doesn't, as I don't want to splash out for a seperate USB stick as well.

I've been transfering on my PSP since I got the Japanese version...I thought it was common knowledge, but I guess not. The only problem is the photos are put in a directory in the root of the stick, so you have to move them to the correct dir to view them on the PSP itself. Not tried my ipod yet, might give it a bash later.
