Sega confirmed it was in development back when they announced Virtua Cop 3.
It was meant to have an arcade release date in May but it must have been delayed.
I'm happy to let AM2 take their time on this one. None of the past Outrun sequels captured the essence of the original at all. They'll need to spend alot of time building each stage; there was alot more variety in the original than in your average modern arcade racer with 3 tracks. -
that's what would be wonderful above a modern Outrun sequel, continous rolling landscape - not laqpping around various tracks.
has that been done in a modern racer (except need for speed)? i can't wait....Comment
