    Super Mario Ball???

Got this today from Amazon for ?9.97 and have to say i can't understand the reviews. Yes the game is short, i have all the keys and about 25 stars after 3-4 hours of play, but the game is far from the awful reviews it was given.

First of all its way better than Pokemon Pinball which got better reviews??? I can't understand it.

The graphics are of a good standard and the sound is nice, however what impressed me was the amount of tables (6) and each table has many sub tables within it. The boss battles and mini games remind me of Kirbys Pinball Land and everybody knows how highly i rate that game.

The game has a new twist but does not stray far from standard pinball action. I would say this is easy the best pinball game on the GBA well it beats the three games i have USA Pinball, Pokemon Pinball, Pinball of the Dead.

    Worth a solid 8/10 IMO

Anybody else agree that it was unfairly slated or is it just me?

cheers for the heads up! If this is still instock when I get my loan in it's bought! I've always liked the look of it but refuse to pay more than ?15-?20 for a GBA game unless it's something very special

I thought this game was atrocious. It looks pretty but that is the only positive in my opinion.

Any game that models itself on pinball needs decent physics and this is what kills Mario Ball. The ball is like a light rubber ball that bounces randomly around the screen in an unpredictable and unrealistic way. So, usually, the way to progress is by hitting the flippers and hoping for the best. Luck, not skill - unlike Pokemon Pinball. The aims are dull and the boards are sparse. Nah, I didn't like it.
