For me personnaly I would say the Commodore, I remember as a kid my other mates who had spectrums and the same games were envious of the graphics the commodore could produce, they often used the argument that the gameplay on the spectrum was of a higher quality, they may have been right but all I can remember is them full colour graphics!

This idea that the Spectrum had a better range of games was a complete fallacy.

All 3 machines had pretty much the same games (of variable quality across each), as well as exclusives of their own. The Spectrum tends to be remembered the most beacause it was the cheapest (and therefore the most popular) home computer in this country.

In Europe, it was the C64. So in terms of overall software quality, I'd say they were all about the same.
