Keeping up with new game releases

Am I alone in finding it impossible to keep up with new game releases at the moment. I've got all three of the home consoles (PS2, GC, Xbox) and both of the new handhelds.
Just been looking through ebay's US NTSC PS2 section as an example and found a whole load of games that I have never played (some are new releases, others old I think) and probably never will unless I make a list somewhere.
Some of these might be piss poor

    SD Gundam Force Showdown
    Glass Rose (by Capcom!)
    Summoner 2
    Okage Shadow
    Musashi Samurai Legend - rpg
    Project Zero
    Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne
    Growlanser Generations Deluxe
    Dark Cloud
    Front Mission 4
    Shining Tears
    Firefighter FD18
    Unlimited Saga
    X11 Stag
    Haunting Ground
    Savannah Park (jap)
    Stella Deus (rpg)
    Drakengard
    Gregory Horrow Show
    Dragnball Z Budokai
    Suikoden 4
    Wild Arms3
    Galerians:Ash
Shaman King - Power of spirit
    Psi-Ops
    Ico (getting soon)
    Maximo 2
    Psikyo Collection Vol 3

    Also

    Shadow Hearts 2
    Xenosaga
    Tenchu
    Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter
    Jak 2 (and 3)
    Katamari Damacy
    Mercenaries
    Transformers
    Star Ocean 3

    New games
Devil May Cry 3 (never got round to even playing 2!)
    Brothers In Arms

Some I've never even heard of before. How can anyone keep up with so many good games?
I've still got a load of PS1 games that I want to play

I think I might start buying second hand games a lot more and save some money!

I found that when I felt that I needed to keep up with the latest releases I lost the joy of playing games and it almost put me off playing them good, i felt swamped. Now I don't buy many games and am slowly starting to enjoy them and go back to my old games I never put the time into.

Just buy what realy fancy playing or what you have the time for.

And try to keep away from this site or you'll cave in when you read other peoples comments on the latest releases.

If you get ONE game from that massive selection it HAS to Devil May Cry 3. Dont even think about 2... it is the equivalent of mid-life crisis for Dante. DMC 3 is where you want to be. Unbelievable replay value and some of the best action a game can offer... an absolute MUST for any PS2 owner!!

From the rest, I would say, Psi Ops, Transformers (because its Transformers) and Mercenaries worth taking a look at. Played all briefly and were pretty good.

I know what you mean about considering buying stuff second hand to save cash... i buy pretty much every big game as soon as it's released, and then not get around to playing it until it's in the bargain bins!
