I think almost everyone can agree that it's one of the best this generation. Outside of that though I'd say it's very subjective. I honestly think it's a 'better' game than SM64, OoT etc but its impact isn't the same those games. Does that make it a superior game or not?

To be fair, I don't compare them in terms of overall quality (that's an obvious disadvantage) - but just how much I enjoyed them in their respective time frame.
To me, Zelda OOT was the best game I played at the time. I was never a huge gamer but it was huge to me. It remains as my all-time fave in terms of overall enjoyment and gaming memories. MGS3 I consider great but it doesn't come close to that "overall satisfaction" I got from Zelda. Now God of War, that came close....I really do rate it. It's clearly a great game in terms of graphics, sound etc - but the whole experience was big.Comment
