To all those suggesting Vib Ribbon, have you played the game recently? It requires you to learn which shapes correspond to which button (there are 8) before you can even start. Hardly simple!

Of course, once you have learn the controls (whenever I fire it up it I have to relearn them) the game is simple, but the learning aspect is a hurdle that I think would put off my gf.

The games she likes the most moment are Puzzle Fighter and watching me play RE4 (we are playing it through slowly and always together -she likes directing me and spotting booty hanging in trees).

My girlf *loves* Vib Ribbon, and it is pretty simple if you stick to the easy setting and don't stink Autechre in, or something.

I suppose Easy setting is simple enough. I love the first couple of songs. Whenever I play it though, I stick in the most random stuff possible. I'll sit her in front of Easy and see what happens.

Oh, and all three Singstars are wonderful (the 2nd is my favourite). Best gaming advance this generation. The first truly accessible video game.

This is what floats the wife's boat.....
Crash Bandicoot (Every last one of them)
Crash Team Racing (both of them)
Gauntlet Legends (She's clocked it on DC,PS2 and GC)*
Donkey Konga, not Jungle Beat though, she cant wait until 3rd June.
Retro classics Impossible Mission and Uridium (clocked them both)

Despite having access to Animal Crossing, SC5 etc there's no interest there.

            * Shame that Romero geezer is poised to ruin Gauntlet Seven Sorrows by turning it into bloody Balder's Gate Dark Alliance. Idiot.
