    Why oh why? Voice acting in DQVIII

    Great news! The American arm of Square Enix have decided to butcher the English language release of Dragon Quest VIII with voice acting for all event scenes. I just hope they'll include an option to switch them off.

    For gods sake... I dunno if DQ7 had voice acting, but as one of the last oldskool rpg series around I can't believe they voice it... well, that seems to be a trend...

      The annoying thing is that the Japanese version doesn't have voice acting, and it's all the better for it.
