Wipeout PSP net downloads.

Managed to get onto the Wiepout site with my PSP last night, but when I tried to download the track, it kept saying 'a connection error has occured. Has anyone managed to download the track. Do you have to pay in advance or something!?

I tried the java applet on two different PCs; I couldn't get it to detect my PSP on either. In the end I gave up and downloaded the file from www.psphacker.com. It's really simple to set up yourself.

I tried to use the PSP via wifi to download from inside Wipeout Pure and like somebody else said...I kept getting a "a connection error has occured" error each time...

I then used my laptop to browse onto the official website and downloaded it from there no probs. I clicked download, the java applet fired up and asked me to connect my PSP so I just stuck my memory stick duo into my card reader and off it went. Took about 60 secs to download and that was it!

I had the same problem - couldn't download via the PSP (very slow + errors) - but via my PC and USB it was easy.

I also had the same problem, did any one try downloading while their PSP was plugged into the mains, like the firmware update required?
