A cross-over promotion with the Tribal Edition GBA SP?

I think it would be cool to try a survival game as an animal. For example, survive 4 days in a forest as a mouse or in the ocean as a small fish.

Instead of the standard 1st/3rd person view, what you see on the screen would depend on the animal you control. For example, a fish would have very poor vision but some sort of radar from it's lateral sensors. An owl would have great night vision, but be blinded by light easily.

There was actually a game on the Speccy like this that i used to play called Survival (i think?).
You could choose various animals like a lion, eagle, mouse etc and you had to avoid prey and eat enough to stay alive.
I really enjoyed it at the time but looking back it was pretty awful.

Could be worth an update though.

heh I've got that, class boxart :P yeah I'd enjoy something like that myself, we've had something similar with games like Seventh Cross Evolution but something based on real life, particularly with the game environments now possible would be awesome.

That's what I thought. Like Metal Gear Solid 3, but instead of a hardass spy you play a rabbit.

generally i'd like to see more mature games in terms of plot and the presentation of sexual themes. and: no, i don't refer to interactive porn

I would like to see another 2D Castlevania game on the PS2. Possibly the craziest idea yet posted, eh?

I reckon there's scope with the animal idea - I had an idea a while ago where you basically control various birds. The style of the game would change dramatically with each brid type - From Ace Combat style kamikaze raids, grabbing zig-zagging rabbits as an eagle... to a bit of common sparrow twig finding / nest building - worm finding / chick feeding. There's plenty of ideas to explore... Could be packed with mini-games revolving around a few different types of bird. hmmmm. whaddya think?

A while ago I was watching some birds flying, and this idea hit me too. Could a developer simulate that feeling of easy, natural flight in a game? A 'nature flight simulator' if you will.

I pictured playing it on a GC pad. Use the left and right shoulder to control each wing, with ultra-fine analogue sensitivity. Gently bounce the shoulder buttons to flap/gain height, then CLICK and hold to glide through the updrafts.

Bah.... someone gimme a new pilotwings.
